Honoring Balance While Springing Ahead

Warmer spring temps bring a certain spaciousness to the daily routine; providing longer daytime hours and warmer nights, we often find ourselves able to accomplish more on the To Do List of life. Finding the balance is key to gracefully moving thru the spring months and the seasonal excitement, hustle and bustle.
While growth and movement are inevitable this time of year, it’s vital to allow time for personal care and enjoyment, otherwise the body and mind are prone to rigidity and frustration.
The daily To Do List in our lives; the spring cleaning, reorganizing, and rigor of yard clean up and building garden beds is vital this time of year and often may seem overwhelming in task. Bringing the inner self into balance with this cleaning process is vital to our own personal maintenance and growth.
You may ask, “How may we spring clean the mind and body?” Begin with being decisive; homing in on what priority is and working from there. Have real expectations for what can be achieved without over-pressuring yourself or loved ones.
For inspiration, meditate on a tree blowing in the wind. Imagine the old dry and dead branches falling loose and allowing space for greater life to flourish forth.
